Terms of use.

These terms apply to the State Transition Capsule website and the paid Capsule Studio license. The open-source npm package is separately available under the MIT License.

The service

The viewer helps you inspect state evidence locally. It does not promise to find every application defect and does not execute recorded effects. You are responsible for verifying results and protecting any sensitive capsule you create or share.

Capsule Studio

Capsule Studio costs $39 as a one-time purchase per user and unlocks local history, incident labels, and future Studio adapters for the licensed product. Accessibility, redaction, core comparison, and JSON export are not paid features. A license may be moved between your own devices using the restore field.

Checkout and refunds

Sociobot/Dodo is the merchant of record and handles payment and refunds. Approved refunds revoke the associated license automatically. Taxes and payment terms shown in hosted checkout control if they differ from estimates on this site.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to violate law, distribute malware, or process data you have no right to possess. Do not attempt to bypass paid feature checks or interfere with the billing API.

Warranty and liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties to the extent permitted by law. Sociobot is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, or decisions based on a comparison report. Nothing here excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
