State Transition Capsule is a local-first developer tool. Capsule files opened in the viewer are parsed and compared in your browser. We do not receive, upload, or inspect their contents.

Data stored on your device

By default, imported capsules live only in the current tab. Licensed Capsule Studio users can opt in to remembering imported capsules, case labels, and comparison history in browser local storage. License tokens and a time-stamped verification result are also stored locally. You can remove remembered capsules by turning off “Remember on this device,” and clear all data through your browser’s site-data controls.

License verification

If you buy or restore Studio, the viewer sends only your license token to the Sociobot billing API to check whether it is active. Capsule contents and case labels are never included. Sociobot/Dodo, the merchant of record, processes checkout details under its own applicable policies.

Network and analytics

The viewer loads no third-party scripts, fonts, or analytics. It may contact the Sociobot API only for a license check you initiate or have previously enabled. The hosting layer may retain short-lived security and request logs. We do not use advertising trackers.

Your responsibility

Capsules can contain personal data or credentials. Configure redaction before capture, inspect JSON before sharing it, and set a retention limit appropriate to your application. Redaction replaces values; it is not encryption.
